I had the pleasure to see Sir Garfield Sober’s captain the West Indies in a Test match at Old Trafford,, Manchester England. When I was a schoolboy on a school trip.
When I got home my dad who was born in Barbados informed me that Sir Garfield was one of the best cricketers in the World. Telling me not only could he bat well , but he was also an excellent bowler and fielder.
Which I witnessed as I followed his career.
