Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available for patrons with a valid Barbados-issued (or recognized international) disabled parking permit and a matching photo ID.

• Accessible parking is provided in both the main on-site car park and select overflow parking areas, depending on the size and nature of the event.

• Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless otherwise noted for large-scale or ticketed events.

• During major events (e.g., CPL T20, international cricket matches, or concerts), guests may be required to pre-book designated accessible parking. Information will be included on event pages or your ticket provider’s website.

Mobility Assistance

Guests parking in outer or overflow lots may request mobility assistance between the parking area and the stadium entrance.

• Shuttle service or golf cart pick-up zones will be clearly marked near accessible parking bays.

• Drop-off points will be at designated entry gates with priority for guests requiring additional assistance.

• Return pick-ups after the event will occur from the same drop-off location.

• Wheelchair escort services from the gates to your seat and back are available upon request.

Alcohol Policy – Kensington Oval Barbados

Kensington Oval is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly experience for all patrons. To help ensure a responsible and secure environment, the following alcohol-related policies have been established and are enforced throughout the venue:

Proof of Age

Any guest who appears to be 25 years of age or younger may be asked to present valid photo identification to verify legal drinking age (18 years and over under Barbados law). Accepted forms of ID include:

• Barbados National Identification Card

• Valid Passport

• Valid Driver’s License

• Government-issued ID from a recognized country

Alcohol Service Guidelines

• Guests may not purchase or possess more than two (2) alcoholic beverages at a time.

• No alcohol may be brought into or taken out of Kensington Oval.

• Any guest found concealing alcohol upon entry will be denied entry to the venue.

• Visibly intoxicated guests will not be permitted entry and may be removed from the premises.

• Alcohol will not be served to underage patrons or individuals displaying visible signs of impairment.

Event-Specific Cut-Off Times

Alcohol sales cut-off times may vary by event and will be at the discretion of Kensington Oval management. For major events such as:

• CPL T20 or International Cricket Matches: Alcohol sales typically cease at the end of the penultimate over of the second innings or as determined by event management.

• Concerts or Cultural Events: Alcohol cut-off times will be announced in advance or displayed on digital signage throughout the venue.

Fan Conduct

Patrons engaging in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior—including those under the influence—may be subject to removal without refund.

Designated Driver Programme (where applicable)

Kensington Oval encourages responsible drinking. A designated driver initiative may be in effect during select events. Guests who volunteer as a designated driver may be eligible to receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. Please visit a Guest Services booth for details.

Alcohol-Free Seating Sections (Event Dependent)

For select family-oriented or alcohol-restricted events, designated alcohol-free seating areas will be available. Information about these sections will be listed on the event ticketing page or provided at point of sale.

All guests entering Kensington Oval are subject to security screening of both their person and belongings. In line with venue safety guidelines and best practices, only bags permitted by the event’s official policy will be allowed inside following a thorough inspection. Guests should be prepared to open their bags upon request, and may be asked to move or temporarily remove items for closer inspection by security staff. A variety of catering options are available throughout Kensington Oval during events. Guests can enjoy local and international cuisine, snacks, and beverages from concession stands and food vendors located around the stadium. Premium ticket holders and suite guests may also have access to exclusive catering services and hospitality areas. Outside food and drink are not permitted unless specified by the event organizer or for medical reasons.

To maintain a positive atmosphere for all, the following behaviours are strictly prohibited in and around Kensington Oval:

• Unruly, disruptive, or illegal behaviour

• Intoxication or substance impairment leading to irresponsible conduct

• Foul, abusive, or threatening language or gestures

• Interfering with the event (e.g., throwing objects or entering restricted areas)

• Ignoring instructions from security, guest services, or law enforcement

• Harassing or provoking visiting fans or patrons

• Blocking views in seating areas in a way that is excessive or unreasonable

• Offensive or discriminatory remarks or gestures related to race, gender, religion, ability, nationality, or identity

• Smoking, vaping and lighters are not permitted in the oval

• Unauthorized promotion, advertising, or commercial activity

• Refusing to follow stadium rules and safety policies

Reporting Misconduct

If you witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please notify a nearby usher, security officer, or a member of the Guest Services Team. Your cooperation is vital to keeping the Oval a welcoming space for all.

Guests who violate these policies—or applicable laws—may be subject to removal from the venue, banned from future events, revocation of tickets, or legal action where necessary.

Please be attentive of public address announcements in the facility. In the event of an emergency, instructions for guests will be transmitted over the public address system and on the video boards.
