I have admired Sir Garry’s down-to-earth manner from the moment I saw him embrace Brian Lara at the Antigua Cricket Ground after Mr. Lara broke his long-standing cricket record of 365. The genuine joy Sir Garry showed on his face gave me the impression that this was a man of integrity and honour. Long live his legacy! My sincerest apologies to Sir Garry’s family and friends.
