I was watching the schools tournament final on 23rd July 2013 at Kensington Oval and I took the opportunity to ask if Sir Garry and Sir Everton Weekes would mind chatting to me. They kindly agreed and we chatted for about 40 minutes up until the lunch interval. They were both so warm, charming, and welcoming to a complete stranger who was basically invading their privacy! And then they gave my daughters a great photo memory. One of the best hours of my life! Thank you so much, gentlemen. May you both rest in peace.
